As a network marketer Facebook is one of the biggest tools na pwede mong gamitin para palakihin ang business mo, but are there things that you need to stop doing on Facebook para mas lalong maka-attract ng prospects?

May mga bagay ba na itinuro sa’yo at ginagawa mo na imbes maka-attract ng prospects ay lalong nakaka-turn off sa kanila?

Hindi mo man alam ‘tong mga bagay na ‘to pwedeng isa ka sa mga gumagawa nito at instead na mas mabilis lumago ang business mo ay lalo pang bumabagal ang paglaki ng team mo dahil dito.

Today we’ll look at the things na dapat mong itigil or iwasan to attract more prospects to you and how Facebook is designed to work when it comes to Marketing.

Things you need to stop doing on Facebook immediately

  • Spreading spam posts on Facebook – Spam posts ang tawag sa mga post na tungkol lang sa product or business mo ang laman. There are a lot of network marketing companies na nagtuturo ng pagpo-post ng product or business on Facebook pero ang totoo eh napaka-bihira ng taong papansin nito, kung meron man. Ito yung mga posts ang nakalagay lang ay “Join us” or “Buy now” or “Be part of the biggest company in the universe” etc. One thing that you have to understand is that walang pakialam ang prospect mo sa mga posts na ganyan kahit pa kapamilya or kaibigan mo pa ang makakita. Unless it has something of value to them, something na makaka-solve sa problema nila, then they will consider your post as “spam”. Lalagpasan lang nila yan sa Facebook feed nila, or worse ia-unfollow ka pa nila.
  • Sending unsolicited company links sa Facebook messenger – Ito yung pagse-send ng company website or video link through Facebook messenger kahit na hindi naman hinihingi nung tao na pinadalhan nito. I personally experienced someone sending me a link to their company video at syempre dahil hindi ko naman hiningi ay hindi ko din pinansin. Sad to say na karamihan ng prospects mo ay ganito din ang gagawin kung susubukan mo ang marketing tactic na ‘to. Most people will feel that this method is intrusive. Una dahil hindi kayo magkakilala or hindi naman nila hiningi at pangalawa iisipin nilang ikaw lang ang may pakinabang pag pinanood nila yun at lalo na pag nag-join sila sa team mo.
  • Adding people to your Facebook group ng walang paalam – Katulad din ‘to ng pagse-send ng links sa messenger. Again kung hindi ni-request ng prospect mo then ‘wag mong gagawin dahil mas malaki ang chance na ma-turn off lang sila sa business mo.
  • Bashing prospects na full time employees – This is a big mistake para sa ibang mga network marketers and something you need to stop doing on Facebook immediately kung isa ka sa mga gumagawa nito. I’ve seen posts kung saan nakalagay na halos kasalanan pa ng prospect nila ang pagta-trabaho. Remember that the reason kaya nagta-trabaho ang mga prospect mo is to make a better future para sa sarili nila at sa mahal nila sa buhay. Position your offer as something that will complement what they are doing so they can achieve their goals faster. This will make your offer more interesting to them.
  • Lying about your results sa mga Facebook posts – There are some marketers na mahilig mag-post ng mga picture na may hawak na pera on Facebook. Some of them are true and some of them are not. If you are part of the group na nagpo-post ng pera on Facebook kahit na pay-in naman ‘to ng referral ng team mate mo then you’re setting yourself up for failure. Dahil once na malaman ng prospect mo na wala ka pa naman talagang resulta at kaya lang sila nakipagusap sa’yo ay dahil sa post mong ‘yon then you lose all credibility with your prospect. Magiging mahirap na para sa kanila na maniwala ulit sa’yo. And also remember that walang ibang klase ng prospects ang naa-attract sa mga post na ganito kundi yung mga weaker type ng prospects, yung mga puro reklamo, hindi naman ginagawa ang business, at gusto lang ng mabilisang kita. So be careful if you are using this strategy.
  • Only sharing posts about your product or business – Kahit na ga’no pa kaganda yang product or business na ino-offer mo your prospects will still buy into you first. Kung wala silang nakikitang kahit ano man tungkol sa personal side mo then it will be harder for them to relate with you. Kung meron kang mga masasayang pictures with your family and team then post it on your wall para makilala ng prospects mo yung tao behind your business.
  • Only branding your product or company – Kung yung naunang post is to show your personal side then this one is about showing your prospects kung pa’no ka makakatulong na ma-solve ang problema nila. Make posts that have value for your prospects. Identify your target market and create posts with value para sa kanila. Yung mga post na makakatulong para maka-solve at least kahit isang problema na meron ang prospect mo. The more problems na maso-solve mo para sa kanila then the more credible you become to your prospects.
  • Posting anything that has to do with complaining, ranting or anything about politics or religion – Also another thing you need to stop doing on Facebook as soon as possible. Alam natin na hindi laging maganda ang mood natin pero as a marketer that uses a public platform like Facebook it is your responsibility to not share anything that would create a negative vibe para sa prospects mo. Hindi mo pwedeng gawing outlet ang Facebook timeline mo para maglabas ng sama ng loob or magreklamo about something na hindi mo gusto. Dahil hindi naman ‘to makakatulong sa problema mo at again nakaka-turn off sa prospects ang taong puro reklamo. Also avoid anything na may kinalaman sa reklamo about religion or politics. If you really want to post something na may kinalaman sa dalawang yan then post something positive. Like greetings depende sa occassion or being thankful kung may improvement na nangyayari sa lugar n’yo or sa bansa as a whole.

The reason why you need to stop doing on Facebook the things on the list above is because Facebook is a social platform.

Meaning iba’t ibang tao ang gumagamit nito and ang purpose ng bawat isa sa’tin na gumagamit ng Facebook is to connect with other people.

People want to connect with other people na interesado sa kanila. Kung feeling ng mga prospect mo na sarili mo lang ang iniintindi mo then most likely mawawalan din sila ng interes sa’yo at sa kahit anong io-offer mo.

The best way to show your prospects that you are interested and that you care about them is by helping them with their problems.

If you want them to reach out to you then you have to reach out to them first. Siguro nga merong mga tao na mag-iinquire about your product or service just by posting them on Facebook pero ito yung mga taong meron lang desparate need para sa offer mo.

If you really want to get more prospects then you need to improve your marketing tactics and you can start by educating your self about how social media marketing works.
